If you want to go drink a cup of milk I definitely recommend this place. They gave me milk with a splash of coffee 😩😩 there’s not even enough coffee to blend the milk. Also there is one barista who literally made me put on the lid to my own coffee and I was like okay didn’t think much of it until I put on the lid and it all spilled. She didn’t offer a napkin or anything to wipe the mess. I had to have sticky fingers the whole time.

This place has the vibe of a 7-Eleven that somehow turned into a bakery. And not the good kind of 7-Eleven you find in Japan, but the kind we have here in the U.S.: damp, run-down, a little grimy, and generally unpleasant. The selection was surprisingly small, and the croissant tasted like it had been sitting there since before Christ was born. It was stale and just plain sad. The slice of cake was decent enough, but it was clearly on the older side as well. The only reason it fared better was because the moist ingredients did a better job of disguising its mature age than the croissant ever could. As for the service, the cashier got the job done, but even a self-service ordering kiosk would have been an upgrade. The place itself was dirty, with most of the tables and seating covered in crumbs. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. It was an enormous disappointment after my first experience with Tous Les Jours in the Boston area years ago. To be fair, I don't know whether the entire chain has gone dramatically downhill since then or if this particular location is simply an exceptionally bad outlier.

Highly recommend this bakery!! Owner Richard was so kind and helpful. Their cakes were so beautiful, delicious, and light. We got so many compliments on our baby shark themed cake😍 Best bakery in Chicago⭐️

They have a delightful selection of freshly baked pastries, breads, and cakes with a perfect balance of sweetness and quality. The atmosphere is cozy, and the variety of delicious items makes it a great spot for a quick treat or to enjoy a coffee with friends.

I always love this place! I ordered a Mango Cloud Cake for birthday and it was ready for pickup the next day - super fast! Their signature cloud cake is a winner - fresh, soft, moist, and the cream is so light and smooth, it's like a dream come true. Big shoutout to the owner Richard for making everything so easy and being so kind ! Can't wait to go back!"
